Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO)
The Office of the Chief Risk Officer (OCRO) provides internal audit, compliance, enterprise risks, and privacy services to the university that includes the Ithaca campus, Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC, Cornell Tech in NYC, Qatar and other university locations. The services relate to providing oversight to the university’s compliance and privacy program led by the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, developing, and managing a comprehensive risk management program, and overseeing the university audit and investigation’s function led by the Chief Audit Executive to support the University’s strategic direction and mission.
The Office of the Chief Risk Officer strives to be a valued partner and strategic advisor to management, faculty, and the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee of the Board of Trustees.
