Paula Griffin joined Cornell University in September 1993. She has worked for various schools and departments during her time at Cornell University, including Cornell Outdoor Education, Johnson Graduate School of Management, Risk Management and Insurance, and Compliance and Risk Services. The knowledge and experiences she has gained over the years at Cornell University have provided on-the-spot problem-solving resources and superior customer service to the Cornell Community. 

Paula works to monitor program compliance with Policy 8.8 The Protection of Minors and Abuse Reporting and is the point person for third-party athletic programs and internships. 

Alyson joined Cornell University in 2023, leading the university's Youth Protection Program. Alyson has worked with youth for 20+ years, both in a counseling setting and in youth program operation. Prior to joining the university, Alyson served as the Aquatics Director at the YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County, running a large learn-to-swim program as well as managing aquatic and facility safety. In her role as Youth Protection Manager, Alyson is responsible for helping youth program directors navigate Policy 8.8: The Protection of Minors and Abuse Reporting and helping ensure safe, effective programs for youth at Cornell University's Ithaca campus, Cornell Tech, and Weill Cornell Medicine. Alyson holds an M.Ed. in School Counseling and is a Certified Praesidium Guardian.
